Program Evaluation
Decision guidance for politics and economy
Regulatory political decisions need a reliable basis. This applies especially to the media sector where new technologies (and the eargerness of commercial broadcasters to experiment) are challenging established patterns. A precise identification of the current state is the basic requirement for showing the impact of political regulations and clarifying existing improvement capability: Is a media broadcaster fulfilling the posed program requirements? How does a new technology spread and what are the benefits for the users? The knowledge of their own and their competitors` offers is essential for media companies. What market potential do offers for well-defined target groups have? How do a company´s offers differ from the competitors`? Only a solid data base can provide the starting point for an adequate and long-term strategy.
