History
In 1992, the Medien Institut was founded as an association for the encouragement of media research. It was by Prof. Margot Berghaus for the first three years. From 1995 to 2004 Prof. Hans-Bernd Brosis headed the Institute in his function as director. Due to the transformation of the Medien Institut into a private enterprise, Dr. Andreas Vlasic and Kai-Uwe Weidlich assumed executive authority. Prof. Brosius remains a honorary scientific director and provides his advice in respect to content. Today, the Medien Institut stands for over 15 years of efficiency at the intersection of scientific and applied market and communication research.
